Otherwise, if you’re healthy, makes many look “bigger” To what degree varies widely by indvidual. As I said the benefit is the extra shot of Creatine gives many the indurance to workout harder, which indirectly over time can lead to bigger muscles and more strength.

    Whey powders can be mixed with just water, skim milk, fruit juice, etc.. Since you need 2-3 big scoops, it alone might be a bit unplesant to take down, so it usually comes flavored, or you can add your own. Read the label. Some products are loaded with fat, so get the right formula depending on if you want to lose weight or bulk up. For best taste you really need to mix in a blender, add ice.

    Creatine does increase indurance. That simply means you can workout harder.

The first is Whey powders, a byproduct of milk that is loaded with protein. This is generally taken about an hour AFTER exercising and is said to help build up depleted protein. The second is Creatine. Another natural substance found in meat. This is more a mainteance dose so when you take it isn’t important. Come is pill and power form.

    think of sets like groups…for e.g. 3 sets of 10 reps… which is doing 10 lifts in 3 groups…with a short break in between ‘each group’…only long enough to have a sip of water/quick stretch/e.t.c…

    The discomfort should go away in a week to ten days from where you started as your body adopts. The axiom no pain, no gain is true in the sense you are actually causing microtears in muscle fiber. Your body repairs this during rest and also makes the muscle fibers a bit larger. How you get bigger and stronger. You should do the same exercise every day especially if it hurts. Rest at least 24, better 48 hours before repeating.

    Dudeflash45, what you’re describing is tendinitis or a inflmation of the connective tissues where the muscle attached to the bone. It is a mirror thing but can become cronic if your ignore it. It is normal to feel a little sore and a bit stiff the next morning when you’re just starting a new exercise or have increased the weight or reps. That should not be confused with actual pain which usually shows itself either during the exercise or shortly after.

    A set is a series of lifting. So when you hear do 5 sets, that means do 5 of whatever they tell you to do. So if they say do 5 sets of 10 pushups, they mean do 10 pushups 5 times.

    The amount of sets is just how many times to do the repetitions. So 5 sets of 10 pushups, 5 is the number of sets and 10 is the number of repetitions.

    Alright man I can tell you that you never really want to do more than 10 reps when you curl. I’m curling 40 pound dumbbells right now and i started lifting 2 years ago with 10 pound dumbbells. I do three sets of 10 curls. Meaning, 3 times your going to lift your dumbbells 10 times, for a total of 30. NEVER GO OVER 30 REPS!

    And what’s really key is: if it hurts, stop lifting until its better again. Chances are if its hurting your doing too many reps or using improper form.

    Sorry, I meant to say that my LEFT arm has alot of pain after 30 mins of the weight lifting and my right arm doesn’t have as much pain but when I wake up the next morning, my RIGHT arm has the equal amount of pain as my left arm.

    Okay guys I’m having a problem here… I’m new to doing Bicep curls, I started when I was 14 but then I stopped and now I’m 16 and I’m starting again. So I started lifting 8 pound weights and I’m pushing myself to do 50 reps on each arm. After 30 mins or so, it starts to hurt on the part of my arm just opposite of my elbow… that joint, but not directly on the joint. So after that 30 mins I mentioned above, I only get that pain on my right arm, I get very little on my right arm…
