With the advent of healthy living, more people are turning to natural products to help them stick to great diets and to make a difference to their physical well being. Green tea health benefits include them being full of anti oxidants which help the body cope with stress. Healthy tea drinking is perhaps one of those things that take some time getting used to, but if it is taken in the right amounts, the benefits will show themselves over time.

Of course the green variety of these leaves is made from Camellia leaves and only those. Because it is not over processed, most of the nutrients are still in the leaf and any drink made from it transfers to the liquid for consumption. The leaf can contain many different nutrients, depending on what species was planted, when it was picked and how it was taken care of once plucked. Some say that this leaf, and the drink that comes from it, can be different as wines are. The health boost it gives is sometimes astounding.

Most people have heard of drinks made of mint or chamomile, but even strawberry flavored leaves have become popular of late. Ginger and cardamom flavors are very popular too with each flavor helping different aspects of the body.

By buying for the internet, these leaves can be bought in small amounts until the favorite is found. But some caution is needed because these tea leaves have many different grades. If the leaf looks to be too good of a bargain, the grade is probably a low one which takes away any benefits to be had. Imagine trying out something for the first time but not tasting the real thing. It may be enough to stop any future purchases.

One of the latest crazes that have been making a comeback is the floral leaves which actually blossom in the container once the boiled water is added. This was a trend many centuries ago but these days; people like to see something very odd when making the drink. The bundles are put together by clever artisans and once the hot water hits it, it flowers in front of the eyes. To this end, glass pots or containers are now being sold so that the drinker can get a full view of this odd event.

Of course the liquid produced from steeping leaves in boiled water can be used for cooking food too. Some believe that cakes or scones taste better when this liquid is used instead of water or milk. Jellies are also good made with this liquid and some gelatin, or perhaps a lovely cold drink, with a sprig of mint, poured over ice is the perfect summer refresher.

One other aspect of these leaves is the healing that it is purported to do. Sties are very painful and unsightly infections that can cause much distress. But just try putting a used bag in the fridge for some minutes and then cleaning the eye with the cold liquid and then laying the bag on the eye. It really is a miracle what this leaf can do.
